On Circulation,
Acquisition &
 Contribution

Not all works within my living artistic endeavor are meant for acquisition.

Some come to inhabit places across this planet, where they continue to inhabit places, transform, radiate or slowly erode into other times, while others circulate freely through different contexts hands and in-commons.

The works offered here are selected fragments from an ongoing constellation of intuition, encounters, and material transformation. Through your acquisition, they continue in another state of presence — moving into other contexts, relations, and resonances, while making care, continuity, and what is still to emerge possible.

Making them directly available here is part of a larger interdependent ecology of circulation, and a way for these movements to unfold across time, places, and relations, beyond gallery structures.

If a work speaks to you, I welcome your inquiry.

If you would like to contribute to the continuity of this ecology, donations are equally welcome.

BREATHING IN I AM CALM BREATHING OUT I AM PEACE from the open series Burning Questions as Long as I’m Alive A thin unfired clay tablet inscribed with “Breathing in I am calm Breathing out I am peace. As part of the ongoing open series Burning Questions as Long as I’m Alive, this work holds breath, language, and fragility in a temporary material state. The clay remains unfired and air-dried, preserving its sensitivity to touch, impact, humidity, and time. Because of this deliberately vulnerable condition, each tablet is accompanied by a transparent shell, precisely formed around the plate. While not shown here, it holds the work in a condition where gradual shifts, traces of erosion, and material residues remain continuous with the piece itself. Further volumes from the open series are available upon request. MISREADING THE WORLD World history in 36 slices, 2021 A multi-volume world history compendium, originally issued as a boxed set, has been subjected to a simple yet irreversible intervention: each volume is cut into three equal parts. The resulting 36 slices remain materially intact as carriers of text, image, and chronology, while the possibility of linear reading is fundamentally suspended. What once appeared as a singular and ordered historical account can no longer be accessed through stable progression. Through this minimal physical fracture, the sovereign claim of world history as a coherent and authoritative totality is quietly unsettled, loosening its grip on sequence, continuity, and historical legibility. Rather than erasing the material, the intervention opens the work toward partial access, discontinuous relation, and other artistic imaginaries of historical possibility. Contained within the original box of the historical edition, the work preserves the appearance of completeness while introducing a structural disturbance at its core. A small act of division becomes a gesture of care: not destruction, but the release of history from the fantasy of singular order. Details Title: MISREADING THE WORLD Year: 2021 Medium: Intervened multi-volume world history compendium in original boxed set Format: Variable dimensions, original edition box Edition: Unique piece → Price on request
